Gateway Directional Team

Lead Pastor: Mike Silliman (email me) – Mike and Naomi moved to Oxford, PA in April of 2006 to start Elk Creek Church.Mike and Naomi have been married for 18 years and have four children. Casey(13), Michael(9), Abbey(4), and Caleb(2).

Mike was raised in the church as a pastor’s kid. He transitioned into full-time ministry after working as an executive in the business world for 18 years. He has a passion to communicate God’s Word in a relevant way and see lives transformed through the good news of Jesus Christ.
soon Campus Pastor: Jon Damon (email me) – Pastor Jon joined Gateway Family in August of 2005. Growing up in Northern Indiana, Jon has been involved in local church ministry in a rural setting since the mid ’80′s. Moving East with his wife Kelly, & children Jonathan, Jordan, & Megan continues to be a great adventure!
 Jon enjoys learning how to do cool stuff on his mac & loves being in God’s outside creation, so if he’s not in the office, take a walk back to the pond to look for him! He would be glad to meet you on the tennis courts with his kids as well.
brandon Operations Director: Brandon McLean (email me) – Operations Director on our Leadership Team, helping to manage the daily operations of the church facilities and infrastructure. I am also a tech head, who enjoys bringing the latest multimedia to the church to impact lives for Christ in new and relevant ways…as geeky as they may sometimes be. I try to balance that with my love of sports….one way to even the odds :)
soon Financial Director: Brian Lyman (email me) – I have the privilege of serving as the church’s CFO and Treasurer. I enjoy the challenge of accounting for the church’s monies and making sure we are being the best stewards of the funds the Lord has entrusted us with. By day, I am a Certified Public Accountant who loves working with numbers. I am also a huge fan of spending my free time on the tennis court or the golf course. Go Steelers!
grant Team Development Director: Grant Beauchamp (email me) – Grant runs his own consulting company doing strategic planning, leadership, and professional development work across a variety of industry settings including church leadership teams. On the Gateway Directional Team he focuses on team development and organizational/ministry structure alignment. Grant is also one of the guitarists for the GC Worship band and leads a small group along with his wife, Dee. Grant and Dee love motorcycling and you’ll find them terrorizing the local countryside most weekends. They live in eastern Lancaster County and have two grown children, Danny, and Becky.
brian Media/Tech Director: Brian Rader (email me) – a 10 year veteran of Gateway Church.  He is the “Head
Nerd” of the Nerd Herd (Media Ministry) whose mission is to make Dan and Jon look good.  When not preparing the Sunday program, he really enjoys pushing cardboard and plastic pieces around a game board with a special interest in World War II board games.
jonny Worship/Music Director: Jonny Pacella (email me) – a.k.a. Jonny P…lead worshipper who prays that I’m not a distraction but a catalyst for people connecting with God.  Believe it or not, I’d rather be running sound than being the front man in the band – that’s just my personality. I so love serving with a great team and singing for an audience of One.  Love playing with my kids, making music, tinkering with stuff around the house, running, biking and drinking water.
susan KIDS – Pre-School Coordinator: Susan Pacella (email me) – I’m a child of God who loves to share Jesus with the littlest people at church! I’m also a wife, mother, sister, aunt, friend, and co-worker to name just a few “hats.” I love the preschool ministry because the kids are so full of energy, they are wowed by even the smallest wonder, and hey are ready to love God and trust Him completely. I also love making Sunday mornings as worry-free as possible for our Kids volunteers as well as for the parents who entrust their kids to us. Love hanging with my hubby and 2
preschoolers – always a good time. Music is also a deep passion.
sandi KIDS – Elementary Coordinator: Sandi McClure (email me) – I am a Grandmom that refuses to grow up. My love for children and fun keeps me totally involved in UpStreet Kids. It is a wonderful feeling to see the kids come each week excited to learn about Jesus. My grandchildren, TC and Lydia, are a source of great happiness to me and I love spending time with them.
ramsdells KIDS – Elementary Coordinator:  Ross and Chris Ramsdell If you ask me to help, I will tell you that I need to think about it.  But don’t worry…my answer will be yes.  I guess you could say that I like to help?   What could be better than helping our kids to begin to understand what a sacrifice that God made for them.  Besides God, my children and my husband…I love my dogs.   Ross is Granpa Henry!  To know that the kids look forward to learning more about Gods ultimate gift to the world because of the way we are able to deliver that message is so amazing.
moffa KIDS – Family Ministry Coordinator - Mike and Nancy Moffa - He’s introverted… she’s extroverted.  He’s a planner… she’s a fly by nighter.  He couldn’t hold a tune if his life depended on it… she could sing with the angels.  He knows how to work a pc… she thinks they’re all broken. What a team!  We humbly take great pleasure in helping to provide a super cool, fun, and unique family worship service for our community.  Along with our two awesome children we enjoy family pizza nights, the beach, anything related to summertime, and of course. mom-mom’s meatballs!
frank Buildings and Grounds Director:  Frank Witman (email me) –  Serving as the Buildings and Grounds Director is great because we get to make the church look great, we get many things done and have a whole lot of fun doing it. I have an ‘eggstraspecial’ hobby – I enjoy raising CHICKENS.

mattW Men’s Ministries:  Matt Weldon (email me) – I enjoy good coffee, good food, and spending time with people.  I love my wife of 8 years and we enjoy spending time together, whether it is taking road-trips or sitting on the couch reading together.  Besides being the dad of 4 beautiful children, I am also the tickle machine, chocolate-chip-pancake-maker, and steady backyard pitcher. What I love most about ministry is seeing God change people’s hearts.
\Bittners Café Directors:  Doug and Maureen Bitner (email me) –  Greetings and salutations from a talented (NOT), good-looking (35 yrs. ago) and happily married couple. Being part of the Cafe’ team is an experience that combines giving and sharing with fun and faith. We wouldn’t trade it for anything, except maybe for a good cup of coffee from our Cafe’! We also coordinate the golf outing and would love to include you in it!

Amy Book Keeper:  Amy Smith (email me) – I am a nerd who loves numbers.  I love to bake and eat cookies.  I am completive and like to play Super Mario Bros with my 2 boys.  I love my ministry because next to the people I work under I look half-way sane & next to Brian (our CFO) I don’t look as nerdy .  In all honesty I work with the most caring patient pastors and Finance team ever!!
